Very prettily decorated with murals and plants. Has a homely feel to it. Service was quick and friendly. They serve fresh banchan: a tomato salad, spicy fish cakes, cabbage and daikon kimchi, and spicy eggplants They also serve a cold tea. I'm not sure what kind of tea it was, but it reminded of fruit loops for some reason. Maybe the slight sweetness with the earthy taste. Very good, but interesting for my taste buds. I was craving crab, so I got the Ganjanggejang (raw marinated crab), which comes with 2 crabs and rice. The crabs were in season, so they had lots of roe! They were well marinated, which was delicious when mixed with the rice. Got a glove to hold the crab while I scooped out its innards. Great Korean spot for homemade dishes!

We tried this restaurant because they served vegan dishes in addition to their regular menu. Everything we had was delicious, and we'll be coming back soon.

Came here for late lunch on a Sunday and everything is delicious. It's fun supporting mom and pop shops! We had the - Spanish Mackerel and it was very tasty with no hint of fishiness Kimchi Chigae with pork rib. The soup was super savory, rich, and sour from the kimchi. The pork ribs were a little bit dry though Bulgolgi was exactly what it should be and the added vegetables added some lightness to the dish. It is a very big portion too.

This is the cutest little mom and pop shop! The woman who waited on us was very friendly, patient and fast even though it was short- staffed. The food was so good! The galbitang was very refreshing and light but savory. My favorite was the pork belly , it wasn't too lean so it had a bit of fat which balances out the meat and it paired well with a bite of rice and the onions and scallions! The raw crab is what drew me to the restaurant and they were delicious but they were very small and more pungent than the ones i've had in south korea but they were still delicious, especially with some rice! I loved the texture of the rice cakes , it was chewy but crispy :) I would recommend this place to friends!

Less frequented mom and pops shop but I highly highly recommend. They have a really good variety of items on their menu and one of the best seafood pancakes around! The service might be slow but please be patient as it's quite a small space and sometimes only one waitress. That being said, they're always super friendly and will get to you asap! It's a cozy space and the food won't disappoint

Authentic "mom and pop" Korean shop in Queens. Very quirky vibe when you walk in (in a good way). Seems like they decorated everything themselves- from the flower wall dividers to putting colored tape on the edges of the menus. All of the thought that they put into it to personalize this restaurant is very endearing. Chef Kay is the owner who cooks all of the food. We were greeted by Karen (the wife), who takes orders and serves the food. Limited banchan dishes but each were very well made. They had zucchini, bean sprouts, and sliced fried tofu. My favorite is the Kim chi. The first appetizer dish was chopped tomatoes with sliced onions, cilantro, and a drizzle of vinegar. We ordered the 4 weeks aged short ribs because it is their signature dish- can't find it anywhere else. It came out in a sizzling hot plate. We had zero expectations and it ended up being very good! Very well marinated.. it tastes like the thick fermented sauce that is served in kbbq restaurants, but just ingrained in the meat. The seafood soup was also well seasoned. They also serve this very good hot tea made of lotus, corn, and banana leaf. Karen explained to us that it's not barley tea like you'd find in typical Korean restaurants because she grew up drinking it so she was sick of it! We loved our side conversations with Karen. It felt like a very personalized experience. They were very proud of everything that they have to offer. Would definitely come back!

First review of 2024!! Went for dinner on a Friday around 7pm and it started off not so crowded but then all the tables filled after we came. It is a true mom and pop restaurant. Mom was the waitress and pop was chef in the kitchen. If I'm remembering correctly there are 7 tables that can seat max 20 people and I feel like that's a lot for just a mom and pop working themselves. Hence service was a little slow, but bf and I weren't on a time crunch. We could tell the waitress was a bit stressed. But she was still so nice and friendly. The restaurant is decorated very cute and since the new year just started, all the lights and garland from Christmas were still up. Feels homey. On to the food!! Bf and I ordered samgyetang, bulgogi stir fry with noodles, and the soy sauce marinated raw crab. Overall, it's seasoned on the low salt side which bf and I didn't mind because that's how we cook at home too. Everything tasted healthy and fresh. Banchan were a bit limited here but given it's a smaller restaurant, understandable. I wish the crab claws were cut a little more because they were a bit hard to get the meat out. But it tasted really good especially with the rice. They need prob one more waitress and one helper in the kitchen to speed things up a bit. I probably wouldn't recommend if you're on a time crunch but def a good place to have homey authentic Korean food in a relaxed environment. Thank you for the nice meal!!
